VOTE NO ON ISSUE 1 Ohio shouldn't add discrimination

to the Constitution.

The proposed constitutional amendment prohibits marriage for same-sex couples, and would be the first in Ohio's history to strip away civil rights and liberties. It makes LGBT people and unmarried couples second-class citizens.

Issue 1 would forever ban marriage and civil unions for same-sex couples-denying rights to people who work hard, pay taxes, and contribute to our communities.

Issue 1 makes employers, who offer fair benefits to same-sex couples, the target of litigation. Issue 1 could overturn existing legal recognition of domestic partnerships.

Ohio's future depends on the defeat of Issue 1. Ohio's economy depends on the defeat of Issue 1. Stop the extremists from destroying Ohiovote NO on Issue 1.

Give 'em an inch and they'll go the mile
